Fostering a Strong Community of Faith Among Zambian Adventist Women Living Abroad

At ZAWI, we recognize the unique challenges and opportunities that come with living away from home. Our Unite Adventist Women Abroad initiative is dedicated to building a supportive and connected community of Zambian Adventist women who are living abroad. Through this initiative, we aim to create a strong network of faith, friendship, and mutual support, no matter where life takes us.

Building Connections
We believe that no woman should feel isolated or alone in her faith journey, especially when living far from home. Our initiative focuses on creating opportunities for Zambian Adventist women to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships. Through regular meet-ups, social events, and online forums, we foster a sense of belonging and community.

Faith and Fellowship
Maintaining and nurturing one’s faith while abroad can be challenging. Our initiative offers various programs and activities to help women grow spiritually and stay connected to their faith. These include virtual Bible studies, prayer groups, and worship services, allowing members to support each other and share their faith experiences, regardless of geographical distances.

Mutual Support
Living abroad comes with its own set of challenges, from adjusting to new cultures to dealing with homesickness. Our community provides a network of support where women can turn to each other for advice, encouragement, and practical help. Whether it’s through organizing support groups, sharing resources, or simply being there to listen, we strive to ensure that every woman feels supported and valued.

Celebrating Our Heritage
We also celebrate our Zambian heritage and Adventist faith through cultural events and activities that remind us of home. From traditional celebrations to sharing Zambian recipes and customs, we keep our cultural connections alive and vibrant, fostering a sense of pride and unity among our members.
